My cover version of this magnificent song from Richard Ayoade's 2010/2011 film "Submarine", written and performed by Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys and released on his first solo EP, also titled "Submarine". Alex composed 6 new songs for the film, specifically at the request of Richard Ayoade, who has previously worked with Arctic Monkeys on music videos (Fluorescent Adolescent, Cornerstone, Crying Lightning) and DVDs (Live at the Apollo). I reccomend highly that everyone see the film, as it is truly wonderful, easily one of the best and most honest films I have ever seen. This is a lovely song with some of Alex Turner's finest imagery. I created the video to match this imagery, filmed across a variety of evenings when the sky looked too beautiful not to be caught on camera. It is basically just a montage of pretty visuals, so make of it what you want, but I hope you enjoy it very much. Thanks to Sebastian for appearing momentarily in the clip.
Thankyou and tell me what you think!!! :)

@mrwalrusinthesky :) yeah thanks heaps mate, you are very right, I really think it is the best way to do it, it captures the most honest performance. The longer one practices something I think the less true it becomes, it may become more refined, but this isn't always a good thing. Perfectionists would disagree, but oh well!!! :D
Thanks heaps for the compliments, it really is a beautiful song with some simple but great guitar work! :)

@shcorporation Yes, I completely agree with you! I admire you for keeping your voice raw and unedited, personally it gives a more sincere feel to the music, as if you actually want to use the music to express yourself, rather than just autotune to sound good. I truly do love the instruments here though, bang on perfect!

@mrwalrusinthesky Hey thanks heaps, real glad you liked it!!!! :D Haha thanks mate but trust me, this is just me singing how my voice comes out, no accents intended :) I like doing vocals in as little takes and possible and just leaving them how they come out, as raw as possible. I'm glad you think there are inflections of Alex in there, a great compliment :)
Thanks again mate much appreciated!!! :) :)

Great sounds and effects - but maybe you should use your accent rather than trying Alex's. Nice work though.
