1980 Vicki Heasley Robert Wagenhoffer US Nationals LP

I don't ordinarily like posting a less than flawless program for a skater, but this team is so popular, and I have had repeated requests for this program. Although Vicki and Robert had been World team members in 1979, a few bounces across the ice during this number allowed Sheryl Franks and Mike Bottecelli to claim an Olympic berth, in a very competitive event.

Thanks for posting. They were one of my favorite pairs.

I didn't realize they had switched programs before the Nationals that year (they had been skating their old program until late fall). I am not sure, though, if this program would have impressed the audience/judges, even if there were no errors...

they were alternates and couldnt skate because tai and randy pulled out too late
