Hank is actually carrying a microphone, not a guitar lead. Cliff is not miming but playing the guitar live. He doesn't play exactly as Hank plays live -- Cliff adds a few flourishes of his own, but he is playing, all the same.

@gwyncyjones What clip were you watching? Cliff stops the guitar strings with his right hand before removing it.

of course he's miming!!....pre recorded by himself though!.....tony meeham has no mikes and mimes out of time on the kit....at the end cliff takes the gtr off while the note is still playing!!!!....good mimer though! xx

I don't know: I personally only have 3 songs from this particular episode, the others are 'Lamp Of Love' & 'Don't Be Made At Me'.
