With the death of Roc Raida fresh in our minds, it seems that everybody in music needs to sit back and reflect on the history and groundbreaking artistry of the the hip-hop DJ. In today's culture, the DJ is a mainstray, but 30 years ago, the aspect of turntablism did not yet even exist. Theodore, who is also known as the inventor of the scratch, sat down with The Couch Sessions and The Glass House DC at the headquarters of Durkl where he was in town to receive a award. Check it.

  • Hey I remember in 1975 I was six years old and I used to baby scratch my moms Vicente Fernandez records on her old wooden record player.

    I new then and I know now that I will love that sound till the day I die.
