Sheets of very thin gauge (42) metal is sold at a local craft store near me. I used the Top Note die and the Manhattan Flower Impression folder on it. Also I used three Embosslets and one Sizzlits die with the metal. Really great results all around.

  • @embroidnurse Too right you are. Have to work to support our habits. Hey, if there is anything to be addicted to this one can't be beat. Not only you, but your family benefit from this addiction. Can't beat that!!! :-)

  • Oooh I love that! You are so funny, the confession bit at the beginning really made me laugh! I so empathise, I am naughty all the time - a very addictive hobby. Good job I work. :) xxx

  • Thank you, thank you very much. You are going to give me a big head.

The sanding block I got from Lowe's in their paint department. It is with all the rest of the sand papers. This one is a coarse grit, probably too coarse for what I did but it works and is easy to use. It is foam core so nice and squishy in you hand. Molds around anything except real small spaces.

Thank you again for your comments.

  • I love this....now I need some of this metal....and can I ask -- where did you get that big honkin sanding block!?!?!? I want one because ti would work fabulously when I emboss coredinations cardstock and have a large area to get the outer layer sanded off. Hmmmm...must go hunt for sandling block! You are so fun Leslie...you clearly are my "bonus for being good today!"
