@swert883 I think this is a joke from Jordan - That's funny, because HSLA steel (High Strength Light Alloy) is not to be heated and bent - NEVER use a heat torch - So, what you have later is stress-cracking and eventually catastrophic failure of the entire heated/pounded area and extensive corrosion. Seems like you have not attended a school of repair of modern autos nor understand modern alloys and the techniques for repair and welding of these types of structures. Thank you for watching.

Yes, actually the oil pan can very easily be removed from the bottom of the car. It is the same oil pan as the 1.8 Corolla.

I have a vibe that had almost the same problem I have to clean the oil pan and oil screen now. Is it pretty easy to drop my oil pan?
