You may be right. But now that I listen more closely it seems it may be in 16/8 in the verse/chorus before changing to 4/4 in the organ instrumental and then reverting back to 16/8 for the final licks out. Either way it's an awesome cut. Thanks for posting!!!

I'm pretty sure you can count it in 4/4 and it will come out even. 4/4 is the same as eight 8th notes. So if you want to get meticulous about it, it is two bars of 8/8 divided like this: 10/8 + 6/8.
