Everyone says he was trying to punch the horse. He was throwing dirt in its face. Look at the beginning, you can see the dirt/sand in his right hand. He didn't try to punch the horse.

that idiot cost me money. Artax was a beaten horse, but they declared him a nonstarter and my 3/1 on Yes Its True became freaking 6/5 cause of that jerk.

how the hell do you swing and miss at a horse that is running in a straight line right at you? would have loved to see the horse swing his head and slam it on that guys face!
