Robyn, who carrried a baby for a gay NY couple describes her experience of being a surrogate. She speaks about choosing to become a surrogate, the screening process, her relationship with the intended parents, and the challenges and support during pregnancy.

Robin spoke at the fifth annual "Men Having Babies" seminar, hosted by Center Kids, the family program of the New York LGBT Community Center. The panel was moderated by Terry Boggis, the director of Center Kids. Check this channel for several more clips from this event. The seminar included three parts: an overview of the surrogacy and egg donation process by a panel of legal and medical experts; short presentations by agencies and organizations who provide services and support for gay men who want to have babies; and personal stories from NY gay parents, a surrogate (this video) and (for the first time this year) an egg donor.
