I live in Puerto Rico & i KNOW the majority of people here are white,so this stupidity is something that we know really well.Americans are the MOST ignorant people in the world re. history, race & culture and even with a MULATTO president!

So sad, what a waste of educational systems that spends more time on peddling PC racist politics to 5 year olds than actually teaching them REAL history.

White Puerto Ricans don't need the approval of trailer trash who don't know who their father is. Sad.

And let me just say that white people and any other races look at me very horribly when I walk into a store just because of being Hispanic! To further my comment, we like our african roots and we like european and indigenous roots, not like other latin american countries that try to hide it. we've had the best musicians like jose feliciano "white" and possibly the best baseball player ever roberto clemente "black", and feel very proud of them both without any insecurities or resentment.

obviously nobody here knows that in p.r. there are different people from other countries like dominican republic, colombia, cuba and many other countries, and most of them are very black. they go there because it is a stepping stone to go to the usa. just because they are p.r. citizens doesn't mean they are native of p.r..we in p.r. welcome them just like other free nations welcome other nationalities and races.we do have places like loiza with african roots and 90%black, but the rest is 30%.

like many latin countrys puerto rico has caucasion looking people mulatos and black .look at the latin american census gives a brake down by race.when i visit puerto rico it is no different then the us when comparing races there are all types .
