@xPickUpYourFeetx any alcohol has to be processed by the liver, which was by far not its design. alcohol hurts the ca2+ re uptake in the mostly smooth endoplasmic reticulum of the liver. though it can process alcohol (at great damage to itself) it is not meant to. it is just one of the systems the human body has evolved with to keep itself alive. alcohol is a degenerative drug and a dangerous one at that because of the body's inability to properly tell the person what harm it is actually doing

@xPickUpYourFeetx you literally must be joking, or you dont know what you are talking about. i am a med student. alcohol is extremely harmful even in small amounts (small amounts over 1 shot per 50 minutes that the liver processes) because it stays in the blood stream dehydrating the tissues, and weakening the cell walls making them easier to rupture when damage occurs or even cause damage themselves through tearing. this is especially true of the heart, it is very negatively affected by drugs.

@xPickUpYourFeetx Taking drugs won't fuck you up if you moderate your dosages the same as you would alcohol. It's becoming addicted that destroys you, same with drugs AND alcohol. Addicition is the downfall.

Having a beer every now and then wont do you any harm. However, doing any illegal drug will do a lot more damage, weather it be weed or anything stronger. People take these 'hard drugs' knowing they will get fucked up. Having a beer or even a few with a couple of mates will have very little impact on your health or welbeing. Taking drugs WILL.
