The more of this type of thing and 'discovering' SS's movies I never knew about makes me like her more and more. The last 2 of her movies I have seen are "Term of Trial" and "Games." I would recommend both of them. However, "Les Diaboliques" is still my favorite. It manages to be very eerie every I time I watch it. In fact, it's my favorite French movie of all.
I love her smile.

@thekingofmoney2000: Simone Signoret also spoke German quite fluently because from her Polish father´s side there were relativés of his mother with Austrian background.....she tells it all in her autobiography.

@szewei85: Simone ALSO spoke German quite well, because her father´s Jewish ancestors have Austrian ingredients, but German is of course NOT her native language. She was born in Wiesbaden in 1921, because her father worked as a translator for the French occupation army there !

what a goddess she was xD but there is one thing i have wonder 4 long time...she is german but how come she can speak french so well???she now remind me of diane kruger,,,german lady famous 4 bridget von hammersmark role at inglorious basterds haha xP is french n german language actually very similar with each other sound vocab wise hhmm

I like her because she answers media questions with honesty regardless. She wasn't dazzled by glitz. I can forgive her for anything, because i know myself.

I've only seen two movies starring Simone Signoret - Les Diaboliques and Casque d'Or - and she's already my favorite actress.
