Hobart Trek 180 Review brought to you by http://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/hobart-trek-180.html
The hobart trek 180 is the first battery powered mig welder that actually has a set of cajones. (that means balls)
Thats a bold statement but its true. It can weld with bare wire or flux core and its hotter than any 115 volt mig welder you ever used.
You said this is hottest 110 welder you run, how does the heat of Hobart 140 handler? I had good welds on some 1/2 AR 500 using fluxcore with one.
This welder you reviewed sounds like a great Farm/Ranch welder for smaller repairs in field.

You have alot of know how but your welds suck. You said on welding tips and tricks that those coupons would pass and any good welder knows that they wont, at least not were I work Bay LTD in Texas

very insightful video! I'm not a code-welder, but I know my way around stick (mostly 6010 and 7018), and I would like to purchase a 120v welding machine for my hobbies, including learning TIG a little better. could you recommend a 120v stick+TIG machine?
