I love Mariah since 1990 can you believe it ? Twenty one years !!!!! But her old songs are so difficult for Mariah now : she lost her power in 1999/2000, weight, indecent clothes.... it's so sad.... but for nobody can touch this lady between 1990-1996, she will be a legend forever for these beautiful years

Well... I like the 1996 version better. Her voice definitely has changed. She's still great at belting but her regular is not that good for her old songs. Or at least I don't prefer it. But songs like We Belong Together are perfect the way they are with her current voice.

Nick Cannon also confirmed that Mariah new upcoming album may contain some ballads and old school influences from the first four albums of her career. I hope she will truely go back to her Old School roots that made her the best selling female artist today !

Mariah Carey is slated to leave The Island Def Jam at the end of the year and join Sony Music in 2012 with LA Reid and Doug Morris joining her team. Hopefully she will go back to Columbia and prove to everybody that she no longer needs Tommy Mottola and his asshole crews to make her an successful arist with Sony/Columbia because she been in the game by herself for many years now and has done successfully well !

she can't sing as well as she used to... but she, along with Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion have, even though they have all lost a bit of their voice.... still outsing anyone today in the music industry
