Zakir Naik:Pakistan should not have been created

Zakir Naik calls the Partition of India as the worst thing that ever happened to India,proving the fact that Indian muslims are against the Pakistani state as he represents a lot of muslims and even the pakistanis respect him.

I have just posted this video to show what Indian muslims think,not to say Pakistan should be re-united with India.I apologize in advance if this has offended any Pakistani.I am just trying to show what the majority of muslims in India think about the partition of India.

I respect Dr. Zakir Naik and love him very much but i just don't agree with his view of the divions.

I strongly disagree with what Dr. Zakir Naik says. But that doesn't mean he isn't a great scholar; it only proves that Pakistanis and Indians are always going to differ in their views regarding the independence of Pakistan.

Also, the Muslims did not rule India for 800 years. This is incorrect. The Delhi sultnate was the first Muslim empire, they ruled india 1206-1527. Their empire was merely North India, They did not get the south. The mughals then advance their boundaries to the South, their rule is 1526-1764 before they fall to the Maratha Empire, Sikh Empires. The British fight few wars with the Mughals. They actually fight battles with the Sikhs, Marathas.

It is misleading to state that the muslims ruled India. Rather a more concise statement is Turko-mongol Mughals ruled India. The British later invaded India, we recognize this invasion as a British occupance of India, rather than a Catholic rule of India. Why do we address the Mughals by their religion ? It incorrect to state the Muslims ruled India.

Few of the Muslims living in India are descendents of the Mughal's. The Mughal's were Turko-Mongol descent. Most of the Indian Muslims, look much like their neighbours, they are merely converts to this religion. They only share a common religion with the Mughals. Therefore most of the Indian muslims were of Indian stock.

The Muslims were Mughals were essentially of Turkic, Afghan descent. They did not rule the entire subcontinent only the Mughals did so for 200 years. Prior to this there was the Delhi Sultnate that ruled just Northern Delhi. So the Muslims ruled india for 800 years is incorrect. Also, the Mughals fell to the sikhs and the Maratha. When the British arrive they fight major battles with the Maratha, Sikhs. Known as the Sikh-Anglo wars, Maratha- Anglo wars.

i totally get what Dr. Zakir is saying, if partition hadnt transpired there would have been more muslims in India than there are now which essensially means more mandate and more power but honestly speaking, i'd rather live in my own abode than live under oppression all my life with the Indian funtamentalist oppression.
