Jakarta Hotel Bombings

Suicide bombers set off blasts at two American luxury hotels in Jakarta, Indonesia, killing eight people. A terror network with links to al Qaeda is suspected. Terry McCarthy reports.

MysteryRidahz..i dont think youve been paying attention to the world the last9 years but we are war with these radical extremests...even the koran condemns these acts..dont over analyze the fact that there are terrorist cells all over the world im sure they knew where you lived they would cut your head off...they need to be exterminated..like a cancer

they are condemning them, but you can't force someone to be nice and peaceful. People are going to do what they want to do, what we need to do is figure out why they are bombing. There is also a reason you know.

Oh, I am sure it was no big deal... I mean, I am sure B.O. is as American as apple pie and baseball. I know that his wife sure loves this country - or, at least she started being proud of the U.S. last year.

My heart goes out to Indonesia and its people. I am sure the govt is ddoing every thing to stop these acts. It's just that Muslims all over the world seem to go into a shell when these things happen. Some of them actually in support of people killing westerners. There has to open debate and Muslims have to come out openly and condemn these acts forcefully. I am sad to say I just dont see that happening.

The majority of Indonesian population who consider themselves as Liberal Muslims are condemning these terrorist actions. Indonesian public have been very supportive toward government on cracking down Jamaah Islamiyah, a major terrorist group in South East Asia and apparently, the affiliate of Al Qaeda. Those bombers who happen to be Indonesians are just the puppet dolls of Al Qaeda. They have been brainwashed, and they're not representing Indonesia at all.
