For my money John Hughes was the definitive 80's filmmaker. I love so many of his movies. Vacation, The Great Outdoors, Planes Trains and Automobiles... I still watch them all the time. They bring me right back to my childhood. My dad also looked just like Chevy Chase from Vacation in the 80's, and we had an old blue station wagon that my dad always said he was going to trade in for a Family Truckster. We actually got a Pontiac.

my god charlie sheen was lovely when he was younger :) and uncle buck just cracks me up everytime!

One small quibble: the Ferris quote at the beginning is slightly wrong. Otherwise, great video!

why say that, this is perfection?

Because I like accuracy. It's a wonderful video, but it's not the line the late Mr. Hughes wrote. There is nothing wrong with pointing that out.
