  • For six years now I've volunteered at my local RDA and have recently begun my Orientation To Coaching Certificate. Over this time I have seen many young disabled riders transform the instant they get in the saddle. RDA has changed my life for the better, and I believe that not only do the riders benefit, but in many ways the volunteers benefit, too. Such is the magic of horses. :)

  • I am 14 and Volunteer at RDA, I drive 20 min every sat to get there and I work from 8.30 - 3.30. It's hard work, but when you see the smiles on the kids faces it makes it all worth it -3

  • I've only just started training at my local RDA and I love it. Had a bit of trouble leading some of the horses at first though lol. For anyone who's intrested, try the Do-it volunteer website.

  • I am disabled and with the RDA's help I have built up so much confidence ,Sadly I had to leave the RDA because I had reached a level that they couldnt teach! but now i have my own horse and I enter many shows Dressage and jumping but when i get older i am going to go back and helpTHIS IS AMAZING WORK next time see someone in a wheelchar stop and think! some of my best friends are in wheelchairs and they are the most amazing people in the whole world u's have no idear wat they have to go through

  • @sillychinchilla I did mine at a local RDA centre in year 10. (ten years ago for me now!!)

  • I am a Lloyds TSB Local Hero - I started riding at Penniwells RDA with 2 side helpers & a leader.I am now Grade 1a RDA National Champion and also compete in Para Dressage. I won at the KBIS Final for Grade1a 2010 and also competed in Belgium as a Junior Para Rider. A great film showing everything that RDA is about - without RDA I would never be achieving all that I am doing now - Thank you.
