Logan Likes Lasers

Logan likes to chase lasers. He has tried to bite the light a few times, and knows that it is not something he can grab, but he likes to chase it anyway.

Logan has not developed any problems with lights, although we do not play with lasers all of the time. Maybe once a month or less.

Great choice of names for your Dobie... hey i would also like to chime in on the laser as a game. i played that game with my Logan and he got obsessive about lights and shadows so much that he would go sit in the sun for hours so that he could chase the reflection of his tags. It took a lot to get him to not be distracted by lights and shadows.

1borgund is right. I've trained dogs for some years now and lasers really can lead to psychiatric issues with dogs.

You should be careful to play with the laser with dogs, cats and animals in general.

Because they can be crazy in the head by something it does not understand. A dot, why can I not take the dot, why is it so fast.

Have unfortunately experienced this with the dog of a friend. It never stopped searching for the laser and went nervous wreck.
