Sound activated wire free retro fit Wayfinder.
This Wayfinder recognises the sound of smoke & fire alarms.It is an intelligent unit that will,within 30 seconds of alarm activation independently switch themselves on and continue activation until the smoke or fire alarms switch off.
WAFINDER WFMK2
All the features of Wayfinder WFMK1 but for high noise and high traffic areas.It works by a radio frequency signal.The signal is sent from a very small master unit which is set next to the main alarm and operates by sending out RF signal to the recieving RF wayfinders.Can operate through floors,walls,ceilings internally and externally.
WAYFINDER WFMK3
(Double gang,hard wired)Can operate on either of the above but with the added safet of being able to be hard wired for mains operation with out having to run new wiring.It can be wired into your existing system.
WAYFINDER WFMK4
Omni-Directional Wayfinder.
Can operate on either of the above, but has the inteligence to "ROUTE MAP" your nearest means of escape, from anywhere in a building.

This system gives too much information. In a real fire situation people have to escape away from the fire and this is not always via the nearest exit. In this situation they would be met by all these flashing arrows pointing them back towards the fire and cause complete confusion.

we just got these at my school because during fire drills no one seemed to care where to go.

ours have numbers like (400, 200, 500 buildings ------->) they're pretty cool. some even talk in the two story building.
