What version of 808 cam was this? There's a #11 a #16, and the least expensive is the #3, mostly because it's lower resolution, and date stamp can't be removed?

very nice, i just ordered two of those cameras. 1 goes in the grill, one at the instruments (speed, revs) and maybe ill get a 2rd for rear view. but ill test them out first. even the sounds seems to be usable, thats awesome for a 10 buck camera

In ebay just search for "808" and "camera".
Also get the fastest memory card you can find for it, to prevent storage errors.

Agree. You find these on ebay for around 10 euro's.
Was just ductaped on the grill (hence slightly off angle)
