What chord do you play for the intro and verses? A tab I saw said it was 4th on the A, 7 on the D, and 6 on the G, but it sounds off to me.

The chords for this song are just D A F#m/E E
but I'm guessing you mean the chord you play in that little melody, it's some kind of A chord, the tabs are sort of correct.. but I prefer to play it a little differently, Cause the C# on top just doesn't sound quite right. I play an open A string instead of 4th fret A string, 7th fret on the D string and 6th fret on the G
