Henry, it was delightful to watch the whole process from start to finish. I suppose your viewers know that it takes years and years to paint with this level of "chi."
It was wonderful to hear how you analyzed where the seal should go and why. I enjoyed the five ink levels explanation, as well. A superb video. Thank you. Barbara

Thanks Henry...and it is my pleasure of course.
I enjoy your video instruction, and I learn a lot ... I always watch for them.
I really appreciate your classical training, and personal creativity.in applying those timeless principles.
This helps me develop my own style.
Best to you and yours.

@dipchips The title is "虛心竹有朝天葉" (Humble Hearted Bamboo with Sky-pointing Leaves) which means bamboo is humble yet ambitious.

Lovely, as usual. I appreciate how you explained your choice of where to put the calligraphy (so as not to interfere with the flow of chi). I love the balance of empty and full space.
Excellent teaching and a gift to all of us interested in sumi-e.

@lindaag0 Thank you, Linda. I have tried to address your earlier questions on the grind ink in this video. As to your other question about rooster brush, it is suitable to draw chrysanthemum petals with certain flexibility of the feather but it might lack of the spring power to draw bamboo leaves as well as the bear hair does.
