http://www.csrw.org - Ethel is a 4 year old pure bred cocker spaniel girl who was left with her daughter at a rural high kill shelter in SC. Of course we spoke up for her and brought her home. She is fully vetted now, although she has a juvenile cataract that will have to be watched in the future. She may go blind at some point in her life. All this being exposed, I can now tell you that this is the sweetest, most loving, most wonderful cocker you will ever adopt in your life. She has tended to my puppy play yard for the past few weeks before her spay and has tolerated chewing, playful, rough housing puppies with such patience and tolerance that even I can't beleive it. She has watched over them as only a former Mom could, taking naps only when they did. I've never seen anything quite like this girl. She is amazing. I wish I could keep her myself actually but am going to make her available for some other lucky family. If you have the means to have her eyes repaired then you may be able to save her eyesight for many years. If not then just plan on enjoying her as she is perfect just as she is. Her daughter Lucy has been adopted already so Ethel is now ready to find a home of her own.
