Notes about this design:

This latest design is meant to be an "elite" offering, strictly for the songs that have made the Final 50. The overall focus is to minimize the amount of space covered with texts, banners etc on the video without cutting out a lot of information. The text scroll at the top seems to be the most effective way to do this, and I personally love the design as well as the new LMN logo that is now in place. Unless there are any strong objections against this design, this will be officially implemented as the LMN 2012 design (although the bottom section displaying Artist Name / Song Title and the Japanese text below it may be altered a bit).

So wait, I'm confused. Are we counting down songs from 2011 AND 2009? Are they separate countdowns, or did you guys just really like 2009's jmusic? lol :)

Sorry for the lack of clarification. There are two separate countdowns going on simultaneously: The Top 100 J−Music for 2011 and the Top 40 for 2009. Video clips for the LMN chart weren't made until July 2010 so the 2009 chart is just to give you perspective as to what was hot back then, and is based solely on our opinion and analysis (no viewer opinions or sale records).

Both charts are done over four parts and will be completed in the next video.
