Another tip - make like an inverted 'Y' - that way you have much more balance.

its a great place for training.
little tip though; don't kick the wall. place your toe spikes against the ice and drop your heal, this well set in the secondary spikes (the ones just below the horazontal toe splikes) and become a bombproof placement.
