HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! To celebrate or (is it a wake?) My honor is to listen to the full uncut Jan Wenner's 1970 interview which is on i-tunes now! I need the great outakes of yours to jump start it. 30 years ago I was reading Lennon Remembers and to really hear and feel it is amazing! Wish you happy holidays and get this Fridays issue of Rolling Stone with 9 hours of Dec.5th 1980 in full print.Should be the biggest seller ever!

The difference of John`s solo work and as Beatles is huge.

This is absolutely true. When I studio John's life from a historical point of view, I divide his life up into 6 major categories: Pre-Beatles, The Beatles, Solo, Lost Weekend, Retirement, Death. His solo material, to me, is not really like The Beatles in any way. Even the Double Fantasy stuff is not quite like The Beatles though it is more like The Beatles than his other stuff. Either way, I do agree with your post.
