@thumpersavage5cs I'm not so sure of the weight issue, my '69 had plastic wheel wells. They were extremely light.

Screw the neighbors let her eat...Very nice and those who mouthed off about the diamond plate..Dont know very much..I find diamond plate in sheets to be much lighter the 1969 steel body cars I would bet you saved some wieght..Enjoy..your a lucky man..
