Not quite, It was also a commemoration game of a famous Munster victory over New Zealand.

If I remember correctly, the All Blacks were on tour and they agreed to play Munster to celebrate the opening of the new Thomand Park stadium.
I could be wrong but I'm 99% sure thats what it was.
