Social democracy is a political ideology that emerged in the late 19th century out of the socialist movement. Since the 1980s, a number of social democratic parties have adopted policies which support a relatively lightly regulated economy and emphasise equality of opportunity rather than equality of outcome as the benchmark for social justice. Social democratic political parties are a feature of many democratic countries, and are found in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and elsewhere.

Democracy, Free education, healthcare, public transport, 30 hours of working per day and high wages are good things achieved by the socialists and social democrats. But it is not all. We are not allowed to lose our hope for real direct democracy, for real socialism in which nobody is exploited by these few guys who think, that they would own factories, fields, resources..and yeah the whole world. and in the moment the rights are winning and winning...

As far as any other democratic system that is based upon a majority vote - after all, social democracies are "democracies." That includes practically all of the allies of the US. Every friend of the US is, or had, social democratic parties as their leaders.
