Patty Pravo with Todd Rundgren, Nathan East, and Dave Weckl

The great Italian pop singer, Patty Pravo is a wonderful artist who has been recording since 1966. Patty studied at the conservatory institute Benedetto Marcello and has known American poet and writer Ezra Pound and the pope Angelo Roncalli (Pope John XXIII). Patty has enjoyed an amazingly successful career over the decades, and is a true world-class artist. She is featured on many Italian television programs and in 1970 she hosted her own program called Bravo-Pravo!, broadcast on French television. She became a symbol for women of the 1960s, exemplifying their evolution from more established conservative roles. Patty has participated many times in her long career in the Sanremo Music Festival (the Italian national song festival), which is hosted each year in the town of Sanremo, Liguria, on the Italian Riviera. This performance, aired on rai tv, comes from her appearance there this year, on February 20th. She is accompanied by special guests, Todd Rundgren on guitar, Nathan East on bass, and Dave Weckl on drums.

Bhe,diciamo che il grandeDave è una persona umile e"alla mano"più di quanto si pensi..per tutto l'oro del mondo(che di certo non gli manca) non si sarebbe mai scomodato per venire a"sfigurarsi"con questa canzone commerciale anche se non discuto che sia da molti apprezzata.Ma Dave è un colosso, si è divertito, ed è stato capace di esaltare anche questo pezzo rasentando la perfezione!L'unica difficoltà del brano era la sua lentezza in cui si deve dare "respiro"e si è espresso in modo unico!

secondo me è stato uno spreco, ma non perchè Patti non sia una cantante rispettabile, ma per il semplice fatto ke batteristicamente parlando, questo non era proprio un gran pezzo, Dave Weckl suona musica più tecnica (come dice Richard Benson). non c'era bisogno di scomodare un batterista del calibro di Dave...
