honda atc 185s first day of having it running

well after buying a locked up 1983 185s and getting it free and moving then buying new tires and wheels then buying a new carb and getting the rust out of the gas tank and changing the oil and spark plug i have her purring like a kitten

Is the choke on when its pushed down? Or its it on when its pushed up?

i have a 83 185s just like it but i dont have as big of ar rack on the back, i even have the same tires!

@destroybob14 Yeah the rack was after market, thats what they buddy of mine i bought it from told me, yeah they still make the same tires that were on it stock..

@mikeee92 well you turn your idle screw up a little, its on the right side of the carb....dont turn it about about a quarter turn at a time, then wait about 30 seconds for it to see the adjustment till its right, also you need to keep in mind about your choke setting while doing this...your going to have to fool with it ....might be smart to turn it to the right as far as it will go....while your doing this count the number of turns,,,then bring it back to where you started and make adjustments

what did you do to keep yours running...??? because i have one but when it is on nuetral it turns off if i am not giving it gas..
