This is a classic film, with superb acting, but I must be in the minority when it comes to Barbara Stanwyck.
While she does a decent job of acting she's not believable as a cheap blond. I don't find her sexually attractive in the least. The director should have told her to ditch the dishpan blond look and go with her natural hair. It adds nothing to the character.
