something else, germany had huge debts to repay because of the versailles treaty and the judgment against the country after ww1. i read that purposely the country was allowed to have the runaway inflation that caused the inability to pay that debt. sort of like when a person declares bankruptcy , because the bills are impossible to ever pay up.
