I wasn't much of a fan of her latest album until I started seeing videos like this, it makes much more sense live.

Well, you know, any artist that has been in the music business for a while is bound to change their style sooner or later. Id imagine it would be terribly boring to have to play the same stuff over and over again. What really shows PJs genius is the fact that she remained amazing even after the change!

well I did not imply that one should play the same stuff. and i think you are wrong about this. there are many artists who have not changed their style. as long as it is honest music from the heart the style is not very significant. style is often something that distinguishes a performer though. if you did not hear her voice would you know this is her album? i doubt that i would be able to guess that.
also i do like more variety in an album though. the latest is still great but a tad homogenous.
