  • This set of junctions are more likely to be from earlier in 1988 than October; *that* Rick Astley song which sounds like it rolled out (ker-tsk!) "America's Top Ten" was #1 in the Billboard charts for the chart week 12-19th March.

Scrap that - according to Wikipedia, the NH primaries took place on 16th February 1988. Bushes and dodgy election results, eh? Which, come to think of it, makes this from very early in the days of Granada going 24 hours.

  • I'm still trying to remember where I got the October date from? Perhaps 'February' would be more substantial.

  • The better days it was in 88.

  • "search you" oh my

  • I have not seen that Yellow Pages one but a good one and the man in the Natwest advert went on to play I think the headmaster in the BBC school drama 'Grange Hill'.
