protons don't explode. nor LHC can explode even if operated by mistake. we accelerate protons and smash them against each other to free up their inner components (the quarks) to understand the force that governs the ultimate constituents of matter. this can also help to reproduce in the lab the conditions of the primordial universe. then if you mean the running LHC can introduce greenhouse effects that is warming up the planet that is complete nonsense. to learn more

This is so exciting ! I have always known that this was possible. I want to return to the early 1960's before I am a part of the past permanently. I am a believer in all. I knew ever since I was a kid, these things were possible.
