We are building another gaming PC. Due to the Intel chipset recall, our build has been delayed for two months. The new boards are here and we are back on schedule. This is a quick look at the board and processor we are using this time around. Full build video is coming soon. Thanks for watching. Subscribe and follow us on Twitter for word on upcoming videos.

  • Keith, is 4G of memory sufficient for a gaming only computer?

  • @vuashke I recommend 4GB as a minimum. I have been runing 4GB for the last two years up until last week when I upgraded my whole system and got 8GB just because it was on sale.

  • why the hell should'nt you use the core i7 2600k to gaming!!!

  • @MrNisse77 The 2600K was picked specifically for a gaming PC. What I stated in the video is that we will not be using the integrated graphics core on this chip. The integrated GPU is good for HTPC or non-gaming PC's that use a board with the H67 chipset. Hope that clears it up a bit. Thanks for checking out the video.

  • nice video man, i do have 1 question, im building a new pc but i have a ver big dilemma. i do not know whether to go with the gigabyte x58 with 6gb ddr3 and intel i7 960, or to go with the gigabyte p67 with 4bg ddr3 and intel i7 2600k. Im trying to build a pc without blowing a hole through my bank account. originally i was going for gtx 560 ti but now im considering the gtx 570. pls help me =)

  • @chicawazzzzzzza We had the same dilemma when picking parts for this video. We went with the Core i7 2600K, the P67 motherboard, 8GB of Corsair DDR3 1600, and a GTX 570 video card. The X58 solution runs great and is the choice for a super high end PC at the moment, but socket 1366's future is not secure. With the performance you can get on socket 1155, it's hard to recommend anything else unless a multiple GPU build is what you are looking for.

  • is this setup good for video and music production? i was looking for some motherboards to go with my 2600k and I heard a lot about this mb that it is very stable, durable and fast. would you recommend it for high demanding media processing?

  • i have exactly this build in a HAF X case with a Asus GTX 580 DC II with a H70 cooler for my cpu. im now in the process of learning how to overcklock my cpu som it can become a real beast.

  • @radydragoon lol thanks for the advice but ive gotton a gtx 570 already, i was happy i didnt go with the gtx 550 ti cuz i played it on my friends computer and while it can play all games on max settings, the fps was really low and felt disjointed, i havent tried the gtx 560 ti but im very happy with the gtx 570 although i must admit, it is a bit expensive.

  • @chicawazzzzzzza the gtx 560 ti is more then fine,my friend have got the gtx 570 and its not that big diffrent...

for the 560 ti i payed 200euro my friend payed 300 for the 570 so i think there is no need for more then the 560 ti?
