  • that is so not a scout it is a chief still nice bike

  • @MrLangley59

Mmm...no, it's a 1942 642 45 ci Sport Scout (rare) but does have a Chief fender face if that's what threw you off. Thanks

  • Wrong color red,too orangy! Chromed Rich luxury red would of looked 100% better! I love the early primary cover and the chief fender light looks great!

  • Sounds like you know your Indians. The color is authentic 1942 though. It just looks orangy in these photos.

  • when they started the full fenders, Chiefs, and Scouts and Four's, all got them. this doesn't have the same deep sounding pop as the bigger chief. with that said, this is a rare find nowadays. looks great, sounds awesome. get it out regularly. people need to see these gems much more than they do!

  • I have a retired post master breathin' on my back saying they made a stamp of that kind. what? oh, he says, "forgive us - we covet".

  • @onearmbiker I'll bet the owner thinks it's fine...

  • godamn dude that is one sweet bike love it man

  • AWESOME BIKE !!

Your Grandad would be proud !!!

  • Yea my Chief is sorta magenta in the garage , but in the sun it looks more orangy red - who knows how it'd look on camera ....you have an outstanding bike here friend !

  • Nice bike, i´m a proud harley 1941 flathead owner, but as the slogan says, "there´s magic in the name". Congratulations!
