CLICK 480P ABOVE 360P TO VIEW IN HIGH QUALITY!Keith Green was a man known for his uncompromising Christian stance. He gave his life to Jesus in 1975 and was "sold out" for the Lord right from the very start. Keith's energy and passion for reaching people through music and ministry was unprecedented, and lives around the world are still being changed through his ministry. LAST DAYS MINISTRIES was born in 1977 as Keith and his wife, Melody, began reaching out to others with the Gospel and taking needy people into their home.

On July 28, 1982, at the age of 28, Keith and two of their young children were in a small plane crash and went to be with Jesus. Although Keith had a very well known ministry he considered himself first and foremost a servant of Jesus. He often said that when he died, he only wanted to be remembered as having been worthy to bear the name "Christian".

Keith was a man on fire for God and was not into entertaining the saints. He wrote songs that brought great conviction on the lukewarm church. I was blessed to hear him minister at my church in the summer of 1977 when I was just 19. His first album had just come out and he came to our church in a Motorhome full of newly saved hippies he was discipiling. Keith truly followed Christ and was zealous for God. Keith wasn't in the ministry for popularity, prestige and prosperity. He wanted to see lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. He had a great burden for missions. He greatly desired to see young people surrender their lives to Jesus and serve on the mission field. The message of this article was written in the 1980s and the message is still very important. I would encourage you to read his biography, "No Compromise". Also, check out lastdaysministries.org. Keith and his family lived in Lindale, Texas. Leonard Raverhill and David Wilkerson also lived in Lindale. They were good friends with Keith and very supportive of his ministry. I'm sure Keith was very blessed by the times he spent with these two men of God.IF THIS VIDEO HAS MINISTERED TO YOU PLEASE SHARE IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS.ITS A CONVICTING MESSAGE THAT IS NEEDED FOR THE CHURCH.FOR MYSELF I PRAY THAT MORE YOUNG PEOPLE WILL BE 'SOLD OUT' FOR JESUS AND GO TO THE MISSION FIELD TO PREACH THE GOSPEL.Bro.David.

  • Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and #7 - he that soweth discord among brethren.

Please don't be so sure that you know your brothers and sisters hearts. Let's work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.

  • @beauarmstrongtx The 'text in the video' are the very words of Keith Green not mine. You should the book about his life 'NO COMPROMISE' it is very good and inspiring.:)) Thanks for watching the video.Keith had very strong convictionbs about the 'music ministry' .Bro.David.

  • Amen! The new age Christians are so easily beguiled into idolatry, and I know for a fact. *points at me*. Music is great when it is glorifying Christ, but music can become a stumbling block if it's just the opposite or filled with poisonous lyrics. Most Christians bands perform at theme parks nowadays. It's all good, but there is a lack of gospel at these shows. We need the real Christianity back!

  • @XiaoFury You are so right. The old hymns last forever because they are full of biblical content plus there are some great worship songs that are very God honoring-but sad to say there is alot of fluff and puff and alot of noise that is very shallow and just entertainment. There must be accountability with those in music ministry...they must be sound mature believers.

  • amen , worship of God, not worship of worship.

so many mega- churches atract people through entertainmet [ music ]

you usely find no biblical truths there.

    Let Him me lifted up.

  • @weeweelegs Amen brother I AGREE....The 'who' worship is so vital. That is, are we worshipping the God of the Bible? Do we know Him?Do we know His HOLY ATTRIBUTES?...as you said 'worship of worship' without any thought of lyrics etc.

  • I thank God for those who lead in worship from a clean heart but it is very tragic how commercialized 'christian music' has become. There are a lot who perform from an empty heart that is wordly and it becomes a mere staged performance. Then later we find out they have been living in sin or have crossed over into secular music. And how few desire to go to the mission field.Keith is right!!

  • Havingfun35 you are clueless and have no idea what is the heart of this message. He is a man who traveled all over the world singing for Jesus and was an insider to the CCM and he saw this up close and speaks from experience and discernment.Wow cannot believe you could not understand what he is saying. You are making a very general statement 'hes got it all wrong" or 'there is no worship of the artist.'

  • Worship and praise, and music is not spiritual if the spontaneous move of the Holyspirit is not in it,,,We cannot help God ,God has to help us.Not by power not by might but by my spirit saith the Lord,Nothing against this man,I just dont believe in modern music ministry to save anyone. Not in bible at all.

  • Thanks for sharing.Gob Bless

  • Thanks for sharing God Bless.

  • @aflame4God ....thanks brother....I have the book right here on my book shelf....bought it on ebay a few years back. It sits next to "The Master Plan of Evangelism" by Coleman. Have a great weekend Bro David. - Beau

  • @beauarmstrongtx btw....Keith Green and Rich Mullins are my favorite (artists of course).....truly anointed....love this song!

  • @havingfun35 No brother Keith had it right. There is a difference between Christians that entertain and those that minister. Christians should never have fans, at all times their "fans" should be led to Jesus and the cross.

I dont know the motives of all these artists hearts but I have seen several high profile artists leave the world of CCM because of the corruption within the industry itself.

  • Thanks for sharing this. God bless!

  • wow this was a humbling video to me . I feel I have been doing this and repent Lord of doing such a thing Idolizing and raising men above God. I have repented also recently certain pastors/theologians above God as well and deleted about a Gigabyte of sermons i had on my music player i hadn't listened to yet...I still have sermons on computer but just a few of them that i know i will listen to I want to Glorify God and not men. Thanks for this Brother God Bless you.
