Great "clawing". That surf sound that needs to be brought back. Knopfler, Cray, Dire Straits "Sultan of swing", Mickey Baker's "Love is strange", Santana's "Winning", Beach Boys "Surfing USA", and The Ventures original "Walk, Don't Run". I just don't hear great guitar sounds like that anymore. It's almost like all of the guitar manufacturers are getting dumbed-down (tonewise) with overdriven, muddy voices.
