CDC works 24/7 to protect America's health. In this Director's Briefing video, CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden talks about how we have made real progress against HIV/AIDS. CDC is a driving force in implementing the goals of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, and globally we and our partners are executing programs under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Our goal of creating an AIDS-free generation that lives in a world of health and economic security is within reach -- but only if we persevere and keep doing what we know works.
