Excellent train song that deserves more exposure. Ran into it while reading an article on country blues on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Country_blues ). According to the article, the recording is "from the Library of Congress' John and Ruby Lomax 1939 Southern States Recording Trip". If anybody Knows anything about this harp player please post a comment or a relevant link.

  • @MatthieuChristmann Hi. try and get a hold of this track: "Medley Of Blues" by Freeman Stowers (from the album "A History Of Blues Harmonica 1926-2002"). It is very similar to this Ace Johnson tune.
