When I was there in 1962, there were maybe 10 cars, 3 hotels, one cinema that showed mostly foreign films--with the guys in the projection booth providing ad lib dialogue--and no A/C, It was wonderful, I don't think I would like to revisit this place, based on this video.

The swimmingpool is in the Shoppingcenter "The Mall" in Groundfloor backside next to the Foodhall, you order a M-Card, is free, after you have free entrance.

I was here a few weeks ago. Just half an hour drive from where my dad lives. The brothel was expensive at 2000baht an hour though! lol.

Thank you for the video. I was stationed here from 67-69 and loved it however it looks much like Bangkok looked at that time. I have great memories and know you can't go back but it looks to be so Westernized I don't think I would like to go back here
