One of the cool things about this video is that you can see the interference caused by the Newport-Inglewood fault which runs generally from the upper left corner to the lower right corner of the image

Yes, these sensors are vertical component. When do you want them in Seattle?

There is a very accurate time break - the nodes are synchronized with GPS to about 25 microseconds.
