Ey I live there iv seen that prison. They say it haunted because two inmates took three officers hostage and the military put two rockets into the main tower and kill all of them.

I've been through the prison a few times.thislast time will be my last! My little boy and i were the last ones through the prison that day...nothing too weird until we went into the "tunnel".We made it about 10' into the lit tunnel when the lights went completely out in the whole building..never did see a chubby gal run so fast out of that pitch black hole in the wall!Asked the lady at the counter if it happens regularly..she said sometimes..asked if there were screams this time too!never again!

My Father was an inmate here for 57 years of his life. God rest his soul.

When I was 9 or 10 we had a family reunion up in that area and we all went and took a tour of the prison. They had a mannequin of a prisoner in one of the cells and it scared my grandma to death! Good times...

i lived in Deer Lodge for almost 10 years and I just moved here to Helena last summer. me and my mom got to go on a ghost investigation with this one group, and it was truly an experience.
we didnt really get a lot though, my mom caught a picture of an orb and there was a spot in the shower where it was really cold, but if you move over a foot the coldness went away.

It would have been nice, I agree. Unfortunately, we didn't get anything that night. Not every night is a success, as you well know. If you have gotten some good evidence, you should put a video together and post it. It would be cool to see what you got!
