  • AMAN!!

  • same stuff. made of acetylsalicylic acid. might be a differant strengh through . it's used here for mild relief of aches and pains. Not recomended for children, but is a good blood thiner also used to reduce or help prevent heart attacks in the long term.

Everybody is now heathy after the crash, not that we had any real serious injuries, and the wifes have said no more ultralights!! Their such killjoys :-)

  • both pilot and passenger are fine. Pilot had a dislocated shoulder Passenger just some scrapes. Trike is now in progress of being repaired.

  • This was our second landing that day. The wind came up and was quite gusty 10 to 20 MPH

we were doing s-turns to bleed off speed and just before landing the wind died, we dropped and landed hard and then were blown over by another wind gust. I was the passgenger on the trke. I normaly only RC models, which we fly a lot at that field. Thank you for your comment

  • i watch this what going wrong in landing position with pilot it so bad with you, ALLAH save your life. what problem in trike during landing? i m qazi ajmal trike pilot from Pakistan. we fly in Pakistan

did you make this wing again?

  • @qazibrother The plane (wing ) is still down for repairs.

  • If the approach is not stabilized, is better go-around!

  • what do you call a slow landing turn in a flexwing... A CRASH. You cannot blame anyone but yourself IMHO.

  • @dictaham You should like up on runway and in winds use MUCH more speed and less pitch to bring it in smoother as you were taught. Low speed = less control. Lower pitch = faster sink. Pulling up at the last minute is asking the impossible when your sinking like a stone with no momentum and you werent even lined up with the runway. Its your fault, not the wind. ;-)

  • I always hear Americans ask for aspirin for pain releif. No disrespect, and I'm not being funny, but what are the constituents of Aspirin in the US. We use Aspirin in The UK, but I'm wondering if it's made differently. We would never use it for pain releif. Just curious.

  • Thou shalt never fly when it's gusty!

  • @DonAnderson51

Don first that 500 foot rule doesn't apply at all for take-off or landing. Second its been changed since April 2010. It is no longer there for trikes. I am glad you are ok but I think the crash was pilot error. Just my $0.02. But hey all it did is may be bruise a little bit of ego. No big deal. The main thing is you are going to be ok brother

  • Thanks Allah for saving you folks!
