Beautiful Performace, Awful Accent. I still think she's one of the best actresses working in film.

Emma Morley is one of the best female protagonists ever :) I love her, and I normally can't stand girls in books.

@Loopyloualways i agree it wasn't the best accent, but it must be difficult. it's hard enough for people from other parts of england to do a yorkshire accent, never mind that Emma's is supposed to change over time. i think Anne did a great job (though I imagined Emma much plainer, more like someone ordinary people relate to)

@LaceyfuckingWanner its an ok british accent. better than natalie portmans from the other boleyn girl. but for anne hathaway attempting a sort of northern england accent its ok

JIm Sturgess has a sexy voice, but he should keep his hair long instead of his haircut that looks like it was cut by himself.

In the trailers it didn't sound very yorkshire butin the clips you can hear the nuances in the accent she is using. Better than I the first impression I got. I cannot wait to see this film!!!

I think her Yorkshire accent is ok judging by the small example I've heard here. It's not easy. Doing a British accent with it's 'posh' RP sound isnt too tough as youve got some room to manoeuvre. But Yorkshire ESP west and south is made more complex by it's subtlety if anything. Well done Anne tha's done a right grand job lass!
