Natürlich analoger terrestrischer Empfang! :-)
Sender Mannheim-Käfertal, Kanal 56 im europäischen Raster, Kanal 60-61 im amerikanischen. Ist auch am etwas wackeligen Bild gut zu erkennen. Sowas gibt's beim digitalen Empfang nämlich nicht.

Worked at AFN from 79-82 (Frankfurt), AFRC from 82-86 and USAREUR PAO in Heidelberg from 86-91....I didn't even know there was an AFN Heidelberg. I've posted some of my old stuff on my channel...

@dlneal53 AFN Heidelberg is the former AFN Stuttgart. They moved here sometime in the 90s.

@Brubacker68 What years were you there and what AFN affiliate did you work for (any other than Heidelberg)? I know they moved HQ AFN to Mannheim years after I left and Mulligan was in charge. Any how...its fun to reminisce.

@dlneal53 I didn't work for AFN. I'm just somebody from the audience who's well informed. :-)
The AFN HQ moved from Frankfurt to Mannheim's Coleman Barracks in 2004, years after the Stuttgart affiliate became AFN Heidelberg and moved to Heidelberg's Hammond Barracks (which is technically in Mannheim, too, as Hammond Barracks lie within the city limits of Mannheim).

@TheNrwskyrock Ursprünglich NTSC und auch in NTSC auf VHS aufgenommen. Wiedergabe zur Digitalisierung jedoch auf einem PAL-Gerät, das es für die Wiedergabe in PAL oder PAL-60 gewandelt hat.
Originally NTSC and it was recorded on VHS in NTSC, too. The playback for the digitalisation however was done with a PAL VCR that gave it out in a converted PAL or PAL-60 format.
