How is the key action on the YC-25 ? Is it very light ? I am fascinated by this organ and your excellent demo.

@TwistedBeats615 Very much like every other combo organ. Plastic keys. But very smooth. If you're looking to do glissando and things like that.

I seriously love this demo man. Thank you for putting it up. It's very informative and gives a great idea of what to expect from this organ. I consider myself a Vox guy,but you really can't go wrong with this organ. I've got to get one!!!

@Peacefrog35 Yamaha organs are severely underrated. The Vox sound is classic, but I think that overall it's a tad overrated. I constantly hear horror stories about how easily Vox organs break on the road. Yamaha's however, are built like tanks! I've got 2 Yamahas, this one and a YC-20, and they've both been gigged pretty heavily since this video, including being dropped and spilling a beer or two, and the worst that's ever happened is a blown fuse, which is the easiest thing in the world to fix!

Man you and your video guided me to buying a YC25d and the boss Rt-20, I probablyl wont get around to playing my other organs for a few weeks. This thing is killer and I can't get over how with property rotary simulation(or real leslie), how Hammond it can sound. This is the ony organ that can really get that authentic sound and still do a great Vox or Farfisa sound. The Yamaha is a workhorse!

@rosskarp Dude I've been listening to your band for quite some time and it kicks ass. I'm impressed to know that you used the YC-25D, must be a pretty versatile machine hearing the vast spectrum of organ sounds on your records. If I see one for sale, I'll let you know for sure. That is, of course, if you haven't found one already.

@Mikemaniax That is great to know that they are so tough. I think I've been lucky with my Vox organs...never a problem with either one of my Continentals..... I had a Jaguar that was damaged when it arrived,but was repaired easily. I have had Gibson G101s too and they are a bit heartier though. I'd have to say for durability and sound, I'm sold on the Yamaha! I love that it has purcussion. My G101 has it ,but not Hammond sounding like the Yamaha. I just found one locally on CL...wish me luck!

Found one of these in my town need it beautiful all of them i've seen are impeccably clean and working beautifully better quality than the hyped vox's n some farfisas, more versatile and aesthetically mindblowing too!
